Pelican Point Project

  The Pelican Point Project was funded by the Federal Highway Administration under a Transportation Income Generating Economic Recovery Grant or TIGER grant award coupled with BIA- Tribal Transportation Program Agreement funds set aside for the Pyramid Lake Tribe.  Over the course of the project many transportation related jobs were created and filled by our tribal members. 
The creation of a paved parking area and paved RV parking spaces for the users of our lake has enhanced the main Pelican Point Beach area for swimming, picnicking, fishing and other water sports for more users. The completion of this project will protect the lake waters as well as the beaches while promoting a more controlled and safer environment for our guests who frequent this beach.
